IIMU IC along with IIM Udaipur’s Consumer Culture Lab bring this unique workshop for startup founders, managers and owners who own and operate food businesses in India.
Workshop Dates – 6th and 13th April 2022
As a business owner, creating and managing a sustainable business is of paramount importance. Success today does not necessarily guarantee success in the future unless strategies are well thought through and based on data and evolving cultural trends.
Indian preferences for food products are continuously evolving. The influence of foreign cuisines in India has been significant. Social and economic progress, technology and urbanization are forcing business owners to think out of the box to craft attractive food based product ideas to demanding consumers. Also, consumers choices and preferences seem to be constantly changing.
What works today is necessarily not expected to work in 2 to 5 years. As a business owner, you need an edge to make informed decisions about your strategic goals. For this, you need to understand at a broader level how consumer tastes and food choices are changing with time. Frameworks and analysis techniques to decipher changes in consumer tastes in the marketplace will provide you that edge.
IIM Udaipur’s Consumer Culture Lab has designed frameworks and techniques that will help participants of this workshop jointly learn and make sense of these evolving consumer trends. These learnings can then be directly applied to your strategic business goals to remain profitable and relevant in next two to five years. As they say, once you learn how to fish, it stays with you forever. What you learn in this workshop, will help you use these frameworks and refine your strategies in the future as well.
